River of Hope Projects
River of Hope has been involved in humanitarian efforts in Ethiopia since 2007. We are a small, family run, 501c3 organization. In our most recent project we have donated backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of rural Ethiopian children. These supplies would have been very difficult, if not impossible, for them to obtain on their own and have allowed them to attend and remain in school. We have helped schools build classrooms like the one you see above. While this classroom may not look like much, it allows students to have shelter as they meet for school each day. Schools in Ethiopia do not receive any public funding, making self-sufficiency essential, so we have been involved in helping several schools establish dry-goods shops to sell goods to their local communities. Additional projects include famine relief and college scholarships for orphans who qualify.
When you purchase ROHi coffee, you allow River of Hope International to continue its work with the children of Ethiopia!
