Roasted Cocoa Beans: Ecuadorian, Arriba Superior Selecto
Like coffee, cacao beans can be roasted to various levels. We will be working with Ecuadorian beans that have hints of caramel, cashew and grape when fully developed.
When you order cacao beans they will be sold either as nibs (whole bean option) or as rough ground.
Rough ground cacao can be added to your coffee grounds when you brew for a nice added variation to a standard coffee brew. You can also ‘bloom’ these grounds if you are interested in trying it for baking.
Nibs will need to be ground to be used but you can have full control over what you do with it if you like.
